Devlog 22.4.2023


Um, this is my first devlog. 

Beta 0.3 will either be insane or mediocre because I've been working on the end of the game, which includes a huge fighting scene. However, due to the current physics system of Unity, it was not possible to avoid lag. So, I had to rewrite the entire enemy script to eliminate the lag, and now it works.

No worries, the enemies will be exactly the sameas they are now in beta 0.2; I just had to create another version of the enemy for use at the end. I've been working on this for the last four days, and I am completely burnt out. Tomorrow, I will start animating the end scene, which could be a little challenging because the optimized version of the enemy relies on random actions. However, this may not be good for animating because the armies will be different each time. Also, the optimized enemies have no collisions, which, mixed with the randomness, will make it really hard to hide the non-existing collisions.

So, this was my daily devlog. I want to post one each day because someone told me that it's good for motivation or something. See you tomorrow or whenever I continue developing this game further.
